Tina, Portrait Photography

Tina is an artist from the metal rock idol group Sentimental Kiss, blending heavy gothic/alt-metal sounds with Japanese idol aesthetics. I first spotted her at the bar Joint Apart. I was just there drinking with friends, and she happened to be there as a regular customer too—nothing performance-related, just hanging out.

Her presence and charm really caught my attention right away. Later, through a mutual friend's introduction, I got the opportunity to do a photo session with her.

During the shoot, I could tell she was still channeling that polished, performative idol energy. But I wanted to capture something more genuine—a truer, unguarded side of her. So I gently asked if there were any darker aspects or hidden emotions she usually kept private from her fans. I gave her the space to really dive into those feelings, letting the usual mask drop for a raw, honest moment.
